Abstract

|
As modern society becomes very complex, there has been steady increase in violence, automobile and industrial accidents. This has resulted in the increased incidence of facial injuries including mandible fractures.
Reduction of the fractured condyle can be very difficult, particularly in medially displaced fracture dislocations.
In subcondylar fractures, we have used up and down Kirschner nail pinning and we have obtained a fairy good result without complication. So we introduce the surgical technique and limitation of surgery in this paper.
